Questions families ask

• Do guests need to download an app?

  No. Invitations open in any phone browser from WhatsApp, SMS or email, and QR codes can be saved as screenshots or printed.

• What happens when a guest loses their QR code?

  Gate staff look them up on the guest list, and a supervisor checks their ID before admitting them. Guests are never admitted just on their word.

• Can one QR code admit a whole family?

  Only if you set it up that way. Households can have a set number of places, and each person is counted in as they arrive.

• What if the venue's internet goes down?

  We test signal at every entrance, bring backup connections and devices, and rehearse a supervised manual check using an offline guest list.

• How far in advance should we start?

  Three to four weeks is comfortable. With less time, we focus on the essentials: guest import, RSVP, QR codes and secure scanning.

• Is EverInvite only for weddings?

  No. It works for any occasion with a guest list: naming ceremonies, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, memorial services, thanksgivings, corporate events and parties. Each kind of occasion has its own invitation themes and wording.

• Can we design the invitation ourselves?

  Yes. Pick a theme for your occasion, change its colours, fonts and wording, add a photo, and give each event its own colour and note. You see a live preview before anything is sent.
